Elisia And Abdullah
- ,Born out of loathing, and fear for her daughters she managed to outrun Anson. She happened to see Farid outside with Akbar.
Farid was surprised to see Elisia running up to Abdullah's house. What could be her purpose coming here? This was not something a good mussim wife would do visiting the future husband of her daughters. Once daughters were given away they were no longer considered related to the parents. They became a part of the husband's household.
Farid bowing to be polite: Wife of Anson mother to my honorable masters future wives, how nice it is to see you. What can I do for you?
Elisia gasping panting for breath looked over her shoulder but didn't see Anson. Had he given up? Was he out there somewhere? She couldn't take more time to worry about it.
Elisia bowing lower than she had to in order to schmooze Farid into letting her into see Abdullah. She knew if Farid didn't like someone he could deny you an audience with his master.
Elisia: You do me great honor Farid and I want to thank you for your courtesy. I have need to seek an audience with your venerable master and I would be so grateful if you would arrange it.
Farid was suspicious. This was looking weirder and weirder. What could her business be? Surely she wasn't coming to try to get the girls away from his master? She couldn't seriously think he would allow the binding contract to be broken by anybody but himself?
Farid knew that he had to be careful not knowing how far his master would want him to go. Anybody else he would not worry, but since she was Charmaine's and Zoe's mother one wrong step could cause the wrath of Abdullah to fall on his head. He didn't know what to do. She must not know Charmaine was missing or does she? Is that why she is here? How could she know? Nobody outside of this house had known until the other morning themselves. He decided it could not be that as wouldn't she be out searching instead of here? He had to think carefully. Could she find out the truth if he let her in? Would his master want her to know? So many questions, and no answers. He looked up and saw Akbar. Ah, let Akbar be the deciding factor.
Farid: Akbar we are honored by a visited from your honorable father's future mother in law. She requests an audience, but I am not sure today is an auspicious day for such a visit. What say you?
Akbar was startled to see Elisia there. This wasn't good and the fact that Farid was seeking his input was more troubling. Farid was the one to make the final decisions in matters like this. He realized that he was covering his butt from his father's potential wrath. Oh he was not going to let Farid play these games with him.
Akbar: Well Farid, you would have better knowledge on what my father's wishes are in this matter. I am just his son who doesn't enjoy the close privilege of my father's confidence. You do whatever you think will please venerable father. Hiding a smile Akbar turned away. That would infuriate Farid to no end.
Farid fuming but remaining impassive as it wouldn't do to let this lowly woman see his discomfiture bowed once again and gave his apologies.
Farid: I am sorry mother of Charmaine and Zoe future wives to my venerable master, today you see is not a good day for a visit with my honorable master. I would be happy to give your regards to my master and arrange a future meeting where he can give you a most proper greeting befitting the mother of his future wives. We are not ready for such an honorable visit.
Elisia terrified, but resolute: Farid, I am not here on a social call. I must speak business with your honorable master and I will not be denied.
Farid was flustered. This was not the proper behavior of a good obedient mussim woman. He wasn't used to be defied.
Farid not wanting to offend her in case his master cared about pleasing her, bowed again more deeply: I am truly sorry, but as much as it displeases you, I cannot let you in. My master would be most upset if I were to admit such a one as yourself into a home with nothing prepared for your comfort. I know you would not want to risk my master's displeasure with me would you? You know what that could mean for such as me.
Elisia knew that Farid spoke well, and the truth and she felt sorry for him, but then again why should she? Did Farid help her daughters? Did he even try? No, he came and tricked her to get their daughters to Abdullah. No, she didn't care what her defiance would cost him. She wanted her daughters and nobody would stop her. Yet she couldn't just walk past him.
Elisia decided to trick him
Elisia bowing: I understand good Farid. It was certainly boorish and unmannerly of me to impose my lowly presence on your honorable master's house without proper notice. I am ashamed of myself for such lack of manners on my part. My only excuse is that I have urgent business with your master and it could not be put off. Please forgive this simple, boorish wife of Anson.
Farid relieved allowed himself to be expansive: It is ok wife of Anson, I am not sure I would not have done the same in your position. Being such a good mother to such two fine daughters who are a credit to their mother I would feel the same. I promise I will get you an audience with my master as soon as possible and will do my utmost on your behalf.
Elisia lowered her eyes pretending acquiescence. I understand honorable Farid. Thank you.
With that she turned and slowly walked away. Farid having a lot to do with Charmaine missing turned away.
Akbar had gone inside after making Farid mad as he knew it would be worse for him if he had stayed.
After Farid went inside Elisia looked around and seeing her chance she walked up to the door. Farid might try to stop her, but if she could sneak in maybe she could get to see Abdullah before he saw her.
As she walked up to the door Akbar happened to walk out of the door.
Elisia stopped dismayed. Was she to be thwarted before she had her chance?
Akbar was surprised to see Elisia still here. The fact she was still outside meant Farid had denied her.
Elisia decided not having anything to lose decided to be honest: Honorable son of Abdullah, I beg you not to give this lowly woman away. I will be honest with you about why I am here. I think you are not like your father and would not deny a loving mother her attempts to get her daughters back. I would not have dreamed my husband would have agreed to let such two of a tender age live away from home. If he had agreed to let my twins go when they were of marriageable age I would have let them go gladly. I cannot allow my daughters to go they still need me.
Akbar felt sorry for Elisia. He knew that she was not foolish enough to believe anything but that her daughters were in danger otherwise she would not be here. It was not uncommon for parents to betroth their young daughters and have them go into the future husband's house to learn the ways so they could be better wives to them. So she must know her father's plans or suspects. He wanted to tell her, but what would that have done? Would it make anything better? All he could do was pretend that he didn't see her.
Akbar looked down and calmly walked past her. Elisia smiled gratefully knowing what he was doing.

Elisia opens the door silently and walks in. She looks to the right she saw Farid. Thankfully his back was turned so now was her opportunity. She quickly walked through the house to the first room she saw hoping to find Abdullah.
She walked quietly and quickly before Farid noticed her.
Abdullah was sitting in his audience room thinking about the situation with Charmaine missing. It was only a matter of time before she was found and then she would be punished but severely. Farid and Akbar had been out looking, but had come back with no luck so he had hired professionals to find her. Akbar had come to tell him that Elisia was here requesting an audience from him. He smiled. He had no doubt it wouldn't be long before she was in, as if Farid denied her entrance if he knew women, he knew why Elisia was here, and she would not be denied an audience. So he came here waiting upon her. He would let her humiliate herself to see how far she would be willing to go for her daughters. Why else would she be here? No good honorable mussim wife would visit another man's home, even the future husband of her daughters alone.
The door opened and Abdullah sat there regally staring at the lovely Elisia. She was a pretty one that was for sure.
Elisia stepped into the room and hesitated when she saw Abdullah sitting there obviously waiting for her.
Abdullah commandingly not bothering to even pretend to use the barest polite amenities. After all if she was here to throw herself at him like a whore she would get no respect from him. She would get only what she deserved.
Abdullah: Come in Elisa. Come in and throw yourself on my mercy like the whore you are!
