Confrontation
Anson came down. He had to admit he missed Elisia something terrible the past few days. He had to stay over in town to talk to the council a few nights, and he looked forward to holding her again. He smiled thinking of the night they would have. She must have missed him as much as he missed her.
Elisia hearing Anson's footsteps on the stairs stood up impassive. She couldn't betray any emotion as she wanted this to hit him like a ton of brick. Anson coming into the livingroom in his formal Simerican clothes tired of being dressed in his mussim clothes was happy and relaxed. He was pleased to see that Elisia was waiting for him.
Elisia bowing: Dear husband, I have prepared a hasty dinner for you. It isn't much, but I had no notice you were to be here this early. I had planned on killing the fatted calf, so I hope you excuse my poor dinner.
Anson: Anything you make Elisia is a masterpiece. I know it will be a feast to rival what our girls are eating tonight.
Elisia frowned when he said that. Did he really believe that? She knew that mussim men typically threw their brides to be scraps of what is left after everyone has eaten. This is to teach the girls their place before marriage. Once they were married, they were allowed if the man said it was ok to eat with the other women at the same time as the men, but in an adjoining room as long as the men were served promptly their meal and wine. The women usually preferred to eat after the men as their meals were interrupted by fetching and carrying. She sighed, and getting angry had to bite down on her tongue hard to avoid saying what she had to say too early. She forced herself to smile and bowing thanked him and led the way into the dining room.
Anson following saw she had made 3 of his favorite dishes. She had lobster thermidor, Aloo Masala, and a dish containing figs for dessert. It was her own family's special recipe, and she would not tell him what was in it. It resembled a cake, but didn't have the consistency of one. He really didn't care, he just loved the flavor. He smiled broadly. She must have forgiven him to make all these special dishes. Yes the making up had just started. He leered thinking of how this was just the first course, the real "dessert" would come later. If he hadn't been so hungry, he would have opted for "dessert" first. Sitting down, Elisia stood by his chair scooping generous portions onto his plate. She had not so served him in a while. Anson was not one who insisted that the woman serve the man. He had allowed her and his daughters to eat while the boys served themselves provided the food was put on the table along with the wine. He was really pleased. She was showing him some extra special attention tonight and that along with the good food and wine she poured into his glass, was intoxicating. She bent over near him refilling his plate and glass repeatedly and this was exciting him. He just knew she was trying to entice him, and it was working.
Elisia smiled, she would make this night the best he ever had and that would make her news that much worse. She knew what he was thinking. She had been with him too long not to know that he was filled with desire. That was good. She smiled thinking of how she was going to rub this in. She was deliberately enticing him. After dinner, Anson arose and approached Elisia, he smiled at her and she took his hand and smiling seductively slowly led him up the stairs. Once upstairs Anson grabbed her and tried to passionately kiss her, she pushed him down on the bed and smiling slowly took off her clothes. Anson was floored and beyond "excited". She had never done such a thing before. He wanted to throw her on the bed and take her now, yet he was entranced by her seductive moves. Elisia in her mind the whole time was thinking of how she was going to show him what she would be doing with Abdullah and that made her go farther than she even dreamed possible. Anson seeing her dance was over quickly undressed, and approached her filled with overwhelming desire. He couldn't wait any longer. Smiling again she pulled away and ordered him to lay on the bed. Anson was intrigued, and yet put aback. She was ordering him? She had never been so aggressive, but he decided he liked it. Anson lying down was going crazy. Elisia sashayed up to the bed in her best western sexy walk, and climbed into bed. She leaned over Anson, and she was all he knew for the next couple of hours. Afterwards Anson rolled over content like he hadn't been for a long time drifted off to sleep, content that his marriage was better than it had ever been. Elisia laid next to Anson hearing him start to snore. She bitterly smiled, typical. Well that is ok. She didn't regret what she did and had thought long and hard if she should in fact sleep with him, and decided she would, because she wanted to heap piles of coal on his head in the morning and make the bitterness go deep into his heart when she tells him her plan. She felt some regret that tonight was the first night in their marriage where Anson thought of more than just himself. It was too late though. She was a woman and all she had left to give was herself. She had no feelings anymore except anger and bitterness. The only thing that could bring her joy was the thought of Anson's face when she dropped her bomb. Thinking of the morning, she smiled. Yes, she could wait until morning, because revenge was best served cold, and she could wait. With that she curled up and tried to get to sleep, but in spite of her best efforts the night dragged on interminably. Finally at the cock's crow she drifted off into a deep, contented sleep dreaming of being free with Zoe and Charmaine by her side.
