Catching Up
Anson had met Elisia through her father who was poor. He was eager to give her to Anson as finding a husband had been hard due to his inability to provide a dowry. Anson being some well off and finding Elisia submissive, modest and beautiful didn't mind not having a dowry. Elisia moved in and Anson wasted no time in making her a mother.
After 11 years of marriage they ended up having 5 daughters, Betty the first born 16, Gemma and Alexie 11, Zoe and Charmaine 8, In addition they had 5 boys . Anson wanting to raise his children as Mussims was very strict. He would not allow the girls to go to school, and left their teaching up to Elisia so they would learn how to be good wives. He did oversee the girls education to make sure they were being taught properly. In spite of Anson being strict, Gemma not only dressed up as an astronaut, but had aspirations to be an astronaut and begged her father to go to school. This Anson made clear was not going to happen, but Gemma would not stop playing and thinking about being an astronaut. Alexie always wanted to play she was a dinosaur and do boy things. Anson disapproved and stomped on the girls hard. The girls would not stop though. Zoe and Charmaine seemed content to play girl things and never seemed to desire to step out of their place. A few years after Gemma and Alexie were born, Anson insisted Elisia give him sons, so she had to comply. Unfortunately Zoe and Charmaine were born. She sighed two more girls. She being a good mussim wife knew until she had sons there would be no stopping. Luckily the next time she had twin boys Samuel and Joshua . Anson was thrilled, and Elisia thought surely they were done. Unfortunately she was wrong and this last time she had triplets boys. Anson was so pleased he let her name them. She had never had this privilege before so she wanted to pick out good names. She named them modern names Mike, Hiram and Jared. Anson was not pleased. She was afraid he was going to make her change them, but to her surprise did not do so.
After the triplets Anson seemed satisfied and life went on until Betty reached sixteen. Anson had been wanting to go back to Al Simhara for a while to find husbands for all their daughters. He hadn't been able to get away, but when Betty turned sixteen he was agitated. Betty was almost over the hill and if he waited much longer he might not be able to find her a husband. He took his daughters and Elisia leaving the boys with a relative and headed to Al Simhara. Anson found a husband for Betty. She was to be the second wife to an influential merchant Waheed Najim. Betty having found a guy she loved in Al Simhara was devastated. She tried to get this man to marry her instead, but in spite of his attraction for her refused knowing she was promised to Waheed. Anson found good men to marry Alexie and Gemma when they were 13 in two years. This was going ok. Now to arrange husbands for Zoe and Charmaine. Anson had to make three trips to arrange these marriages and each time it was inconvenient so he was anxious to get this done so he didn't have to come back again except to deliver the girls. He heard of a likely prospect from a villager. The man's name was Abdullah. Anson approached him and Abdullah was very willing, but with conditions. He insisted that he wanted both of the girls for his wives and in addition they would have to come live in his house as servants, until they were 13 and could become his wives. Anson agreed just relieved to have his daughters taken care of. Later that day Waheed Najim called and asked Anson if he had indeed betrothed Zoe and Charmaine to Abdullah. Anson lied, not wanting to maybe sabotage the agreement he had to marry Betty. Waheed was relieved and told Anson that Abdullah was a dangerous man and the head of the simafia. Anson was dismayed to hear this, and was rethinking his contract with Abdullah, but knew that he was not a man to be crossed. Being afraid he decided there was nothing to be done. Anson told Elisia about the arrangement he made with Abdullah and Elisia was upset, but knew she couldn't change it so said nothing. Then she saw Anson later upset, and he told her what he had found out about Abdullah as he told her everything and she begged him not to go through with it. Anson got mad and told her that he couldn't do anything. Elisia was devastated, but what could she do?
Meantime at Abdullah's house his teenage son Akbar having heard the conversation between Abdullah and Anson begged his father not to make those young girls move in right away. He knew his father was evil, and frankly his dad's business and deeds disgusted him. Abdullah always disgusted by his son's as he saw it weak nature told Akbar that not only was he going to bring the girls there in a few days, but that he might not even wait until the girls were of age to make them his. Sickened Akbar decided to speak with Anson and let him know what his father was planning.
